Install a Kicker ZX400.1 True Class D Mono Block Amp in a 2006 Ford F-150 King Ranch . We sold sold the customer a better subwoofer Kicker CVR 10" (dual 4 ohm) ( then what he had DB DRIVE :/ 10" ) and the amp he had was'nt doing it (DB Drive 2 channel haha :^{ ) . It was cutting off at higher volumes and would turn back on after turing it down . The shop that installed the wiring did a BAD BAD job of installing all the wiring ( I go over everything bad on the wiring install )!! UPDATE ON THIS INSTALL customer BLOW Kicker CVR 10" I fully credited him on CVR and paid alil more for CVX 10" ( dual 4 ohm) LOL HELL YA !!!!! That subwoofer (Kicker CVX) is meant for smaller sub boxes ;D and sound better to because of the venting is'nt thou the rear of magnet !!!! alright everybody to wire a dvc 4ohms to a final impedence of 2 ohms you have to first conncect both positive terminals and then both negative terminals then you are going to run a separate wire to one of the positive coils and another wire to a negative coil. dont connect the positive and negative to the same coil it has to be one of each. to wire the dvc 4ohms sub to an impedence of 8ohms you have to connect one positive to one negative, again not of the same voice coil and then your left with a positive and a negative and those are your positive and negative that go to ur amp
